Thanks to technical progress, it is now possible to make ophthalmological findings exclusively by means of equipment. Such an examination is in many respects more accurate than the manual examination - and above all it is always equally thorough and always complete. This is because the high-tech equipment used in the ebovis practice works reliably and is of impeccable quality. As a result, they deliver the most accurate results.
Once the examination is complete, our team of specialists can access the findings, assess the results and classify them correctly. In other words: The equipment in the ebovis eye practice collects all the information about your eyes, the ophthalmologists make the correct diagnosis and initiate any further steps. If additional expertise is needed for the diagnosis, competent colleagues are consulted. This is a novelty, because usually the patients have to go personally to the specialists. We simply call them in if necessary and save you this effort.
A few days after your examination in the ebovis eye practice, you will receive a medical report - even if everything is fine with you. The report is written in simple language and free of medical jargon, so that you can usually understand it easily. If anything is unclear, you can contact us. We want all patients to have the best possible knowledge about their eyes.
The report contains a suggestion regarding the further procedure and - depending on the findings - sometimes a prescription for medication or eyeglasses. If it becomes clear that a specialist needs to be consulted - for example, for cataract surgery - we will refer you and pass on our findings to the doctor who will follow up your treatment. If you agree, we will also forward the report to your family doctor or to a referring specialist. It is important to us that they are also informed.
